  • Business information: business address, business registration details, and team member information (for supplier and business contractor accounts).
  • Payment information: credit card details (processed and stored by our payment processor, Stripe — we do not store full card numbers).
  • Jobsite information: delivery addresses and jobsite names.
  • Driver documentation: driver's licence, vehicle information, insurance details, and background check consent (for driver applicants).
  • Communications: messages sent through the Platform, support requests, and issue reports.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device information: device type, operating system, browser type, and unique device identifiers.
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, search queries, and interaction patterns.
  • Location data: approximate location derived from IP address. For drivers, precise GPS location during active deliveries (with consent).
  • Log data: IP address, access times, and referring URLs.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Create and manage your account
  • Process and fulfill orders
  • Facilitate connections between contractors, suppliers, and drivers
  • Process payments and payouts
  • Send transactional notifications (order updates, delivery status, account alerts)
  • Verify supplier and driver eligibility
  • Improve and optimize the Platform
  • Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
  • Comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes

4. How We Share Your Information

4.1 Between Platform Users

To facilitate orders and deliveries, certain information is shared between parties:

  • Contractors → Suppliers: name, business name, jobsite address, and order details.
  • Contractors → Drivers: jobsite address and delivery instructions. Name is shared upon delivery.
  • Suppliers → Contractors: store name, address, contact information, and product catalog.
  • Drivers → Contractors: first name and vehicle information during active deliveries.

4.2 Service Providers

We share information with third-party service providers who help us operate the Platform, including:

  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Supabase — database and authentication services
  • Vercel — application hosting
  • Background check providers — driver eligibility verification

These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only for the purposes we specify and to maintain appropriate security measures.

4.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or government request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide Services. After account deletion:

  • Account data is deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., tax records, transaction history).
  • Order and transaction records are retained for 7 years for tax and legal compliance.
  • Anonymized usage data may be retained indefinitely for analytics purposes.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:

  • Encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest
  • Row-level security policies on database tables
  • Role-based access controls for team accounts
  • Regular security reviews and monitoring

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Under PIPA and PIPEDA, you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Deletion — request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Withdraw consent — withdraw your consent for specific data processing activities at any time.
  • Complaint — file a complaint with the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of British Columbia.

8. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and authentication state. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking pixels.

Analytics cookies (if used) are anonymized and help us understand how the Platform is used so we can improve it. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect Platform functionality.

9. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 19 (the age of majority in British Columbia). We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that we have collected information from a minor, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

10. Cross-Border Data Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored in Canada and the United States (where some of our service providers are located). By using the Platform, you consent to the transfer of your information to these jurisdictions. We ensure that all cross-border transfers comply with applicable privacy legislation.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a prominent notice on the Platform. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the Policy was last revised.
